We are a full service event planning and design company that creates one-of-a-kind weddings inspired by the love stories and adventures of our incredible couples. We treat each wedding as our own, which means that we take on a limited number of weddings per year in order to ensure that your wedding gets the attention to detail it deserves. From our first meeting to the last goodbye at brunch, we're focused on making your wedding experience every bit as magical as you are dreaming it will be.  

Together our team services all of Northern Virginia, Washington D.C, Maryland, Richmond, Williamsburg to Hampton Roads, and more. We also plan and design Destination Weddings and are available both domestically and internationally. 


The Crown Experience 

Designed with clients of the most discerning taste in mind, we start at the beginning of your planning process with getting to know you both, your styles, your likes, your favorite foods and colors and then work to pair you with a curated list of amazing vendors to bring your unique vision to life! We pride ourselves in making no assumptions about what a wedding should and shouldn't be and how you chose to celebrate. Planning takes time and can become overwhelming with so many routes to explore before the big day. We believe planning and design are inseparable as it effects production, the guest experience, flow and service. With this full service experience we review and manage all contracts, setup all meetings and visits, guiding you every step of the way.If you want your wedding to be the best wedding you have ever attended, without stress, while staying on budget then this experience is your insurance and the best gift you can give yourselves!

The Scepter Experience

This service is for the couple who wants comprehensive support , expert planning and design guidance throughout the entire process in order to create an unforgettable event for their guests! With this partial planning experience our team will work with you to ensure that your special day is cohesive, personal and unique.  The Caressed By Design team is here to offer guidance and assistance from the initial consultation to on site coordination. Our team will serve as the primary contact for you and all vendors involved and will manage your  planning process to include budget development,venue selection, timeline creation, vendor recommendations and the coordinating team on your big day. We will take care of the details and make sure that the design of your wedding creates an unforgettable experience.

Wedding Table Set

The Mantle Experience

This level of service begins up to 12 weeks prior to your wedding and is for couples who have done most of the planning and vendor contracting themselves, but want an experienced planner to take over and coordinate everything on their wedding day. Our team will confirm the final details with you and all vendors involved and will manage the entire event making sure everything goes smoothly so you can enjoy your special day free from concerns. We only take on weddings at the Mantle level when we feel the venue & vendor team that is lined up can adhere to our standards of excellence and are completely reliable. We want to make sure that working with you on a scaled back capacity is going to have the same perfect outcome that you are expecting when you become a Caressed By Design client.
